USDA Secretary visits training center
USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue toured JARC and held a round table with current and former trainees to discuss a plan to enhance the opportunities SNAP participants have within Employment & Training to gain skills they need to provide for their families. Citing JARC's wraparound services, Perdue said that combined with skills training, JARC Baltimore is changing lives.
JARC Baltimore awarded Governor’s Citation
A Maryland Governor’s Citation was awarded to JARC Baltimore recognizing its efforts to expanding the local workforce that supports the manufacturing, construction and offshore wind energy industries. The award was presented by MEA Director Mary Beth Tung and DLLR Secretary Kelly Schultz.

JARC Baltimore Employer Spotlight: Raloid Corporation, Reisterstown, MD
Raloid Corp. was recently named JARC Baltimore's Manufacturing Partner of the Year. The veteran-owned business has served the machining needs of the military and aero defense industry for over 50 years. Today the company employs six JARC graduates and taps the organization for on-site machinist training.
